A practically unlimited network of tended paths which crosses over seamlessly with the ski touring routes. Thanks to Nauders’ ideal location, it is also possible to walk up to 3,000 metres above sea level. Between the three mighty mountain ranges of the Ötztal Alps, the Sesvenna and the imposing Samnaun range there are walks for every ability level at your feet.
And after the walk? Hospitable landlords invite you to take a break in their rustic mountain huts, where they spoil their guests with typical Tyrolean delicacies.

It’s simple: Just as it does in summer, hiking in winter requires some careful preparation. Your chosen route needs to be appropriate for your level of ability, but that’s not the only thing you need to consider. When planning your walk, pay particular attention to the low temperatures and early sundown. This means you should pack a Thermos flask of hot tea along with appropriate clothing and equipment for the wintry weather conditions.
