Skisisters: a community of women who share a passion for skiing.
The programme is for women aged 18 to 35 who already have experience of skiing and can master short turns on a red piste.
The programme also includes night tobogganing and a sunrise breakfast.
The idea came from two Dutch women, Danique and Tamar, who worked together at the same ski school in Nauders. ‘We wanted to create something special for the girls in the ski community. Skiing is quite male-dominated. And although we love conquering the slopes with the boys, there is something very special about the moments with the girls,’ the two explain their motivation. ‘Our aim with Skisisters is to bring girls in the ski world together through our ski trips so that we can find each other and support each other.’ This winter, they are therefore starting to organise ski trips for women.
